Dr. Rod Andrew
Professor of History
Clemson University

Rod Andrew Jr. is Professor of History at Clemson University.
He is the author of
Wade Hampton: Confederate Warrior to Southern Redeemer (2008)
and
Long Gray Lines: The Southern Military School Tradition, 1831-1915 (2001),
both published by UNC Press.
He is a former active-duty Marine and currently serves as a Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
